Gilbert blow for Bluebirds

Cardiff City could be without loan defender Kerrea Gilbert for as long as six weeks after he dislocated a shoulder during training.

The 19-year-old Arsenal starlet was gearing up for a return to action after serving a three-match suspension for being sent off in the 1-0 defeat at Norwich City, but now faces another stint on the sidelines.

Gilbert moved to Ninian Park on a season-long loan from Arsenal in the summer and made 12 appearances for City before his double blow.

The Championship leaders are expected to try and extend James Chambers' loan from Watford to a second month to cover for Gilbert's absence.
