FT: Fulham 1 - 2 Cardiff City
Jordon's screamer too Mutch for Fulham.
Cardiff City recored their first away win in the top flight since 1961 (also at Craven Cottage) thanks to Jordon Mutch's injury time winner.
The goal earned Cardiff a deserved victory after outplaying the Londoners and heaping pressure on Martin Jol.
Cardiff led after Steven Caulker headed home Peter Whittingham's corner after 13 mins. The Bluebirds were rampant and Fulham were chasing shadows as City dominated all areas.
Martin Jol had to do something and he brought on Bryan Ruiz to replace Alex Kacaniklic in the 41st minute. And it paid off when out of nowhere Ruiz scored a quality goal that gave Marshall no chance.
Cardiff created more chances in the second half with Fraizer Campbell coming closest, his effort went over the bar from close range, but it was a more even game that looked to be heading to a draw.
Berbatov went close with a header, Bent didn't really do anything all game and he was replaced by Taarabt with 4 mins to go. The introduction of the ex QPR player did little to improve Fulham.
Midway through the three minutes of injury time Cardiff won a free kick in their own half. Marshall kicked it towards the far corner of the box where it was controlled by Jordon Mutch and he let fly with a rocket into the top corner. The keeper was grasping thin air and the away end at Craven Cottage went absolutely ballistic.
City survived one more Fulham corner to secure a cracking win that takes the Bluebirds 11th in the table. One place and one point above Man Utd with both clubs having played six games.
Next Saturday City face Newcastle at CCS before there's a two week international break.
