Cooper makes Bluebirds exit

Cardiff City midfielder Kevin Cooper has left Ninian Park after his contract was terminated by mutual consent. The 32-year-old was signed by Bluebirds boss Dave Jones from Wolves in the summer of 2005 and played 44 games for the club. However, he has been out of favour for the last 12 months with his last appearance for the club coming in last term's FA Cup third round defeat at Spurs. Cooper has spent time on loan with Walsall, Yeovil Town and Tranmere in the last year, returning from his spell at Prenton Park in November.
