City close to Tommy Smith capture

Sky Sports sources understand Queens Park Rangers forward Tommy Smith is undergoing a medical at Cardiff City.

Striker Tommy Smith, experienced at getting promotion at this level is said to be close to completing a move to Cardiff City.

Smith would be the third acquisition from QPR this summer following Heidar Helguson and Matt Connolly.
