Chopra hits out at Bluebirds

Michael Chopra has issued a stark warning to Cardiff's board - sort out the club's financial mess or I'm leaving. The star striker has seen City slump back into financial uncertainty having appeared to stave off the threat of a winding-up order last month following investment from a Malaysian consortium. The Bluebirds, who have lost Joe Ledley to Celtic, are currently under a transfer embargo and manager Dave Jones is unable to bolster his ranks ahead of the August 7 kick-off.It is just the latest in a turbulent period for the Welsh outfit and, in part of an open outburst, Chopra told the South Wales Echo: "I'm well hacked off. If this club doesn't bring in new players, I'm off."I've had enough. Nothing is moving, with just a couple of weeks until the new season. I can see that we will struggle this season if people at board level don't get real and sort this matter (the financial struggles) out sooner rather than later."It's not good for morale and I'm not the only one fuming about the lack of movement in the camp."
