Cardiff City revived their Championship play-off push with a comfortable 2-0 victory over lowly club Peterborough. Jay Bothroyd had hit the post before the striker set-up Chris Burke to volley Cardiff into a 30th minute lead. Bothroyd was the provider again when Anthony Gerrard sealed the win late on as the Cardiff targetman had flicked on Peter Whittingham's superb free-kick.
