Cardiff City have completed the signing of goalkeeper David Marshall from Norwich City for an undisclosed fee.

The former Celtic keeper is manager Dave Jones' first summer signing after the two clubs agreed a 'six-figure fee' on Tuesday.

"He's really delighted to be coming to a great club like Cardiff City," agent Willie McKay told the club's official website.

"Cardiff City is potentially a big, big club and all they need to do is step forward into the Premier League and I think they'll be there to stay.

"I'm sure that David will be a big fans' favourite and I always thought that he would play in the Premier League at some stage.

"I hope it's with Cardiff City."
