Cardiff complete Feeney deal

Cardiff City have completed the loan signing of Luton Town striker Warren Feeney.

Chairman Peter Ridsdale admitted the Bluebirds' interest in the Northern Ireland international earlier in the week and Feeney has agreed an immediate loan switch to Ninian Park until the end of the season plus a permanent switch when the transfer window reopens in the summer.

The 26-year-old has agreed terms on a three-year contract with Cardiff from the start of next season.

Feeney moved to the Hatters for £175,000 from Stockport County in 2005 and has scored 11 times in 82 appearances.

The Belfast-born forward began his career at Leeds United before moving on to Bournemouth.
