Cardiff close on defender Hudson

Cardiff say they have had a bid accepted for an unnamed centre-back, believed to be Charlton's Mark Hudson. "Our priority is a centre-half and we have had an offer accepted," said Cardiff boss Peter Ridsdale. "We will be talking to the player on Monday. "There has been discussion about [Cardiff recruiting Motherwell defender] Paul Quinn, but our first job is to bring in a central defender."
