Cardiff City new boy Tony Capaldi says he decided to join the Bluebirds after feeling wanted by the club during transfer talks.
The 25-year-old Northern Ireland international opted to leave Plymouth Argyle after four years at Home Park, signing a three-year contract at Ninian Park.
Capaldi told the West Briton: "I had four great years at Plymouth, but I just felt it was time to move on.
"I'd had chats with a few Championship clubs, but then Cardiff said they wanted to talk to me and I went down there and I must admit I was impressed.
"They said they were keen to get me, which is always nice to hear. So I thought about it and then went back and decided to sign for them.
"There were other options, but the manager impressed me when I met him. I felt Dave Jones really believed what he was telling me."
