Bothroyd injury concerns Cardiff

Cardiff City fear a striking crisis as Jay Bothroyd is set to undergo a scan on a potential knee injury.The 27-year-old pulled up with a hamstring strain in the Bluebirds' 2-0 defeat at Doncaster and was replaced in the eighth minute by Kelvin Etuhu. Cardiff's medics will assess his injury as they fear Bothroyd's hamstring issue could have been exacerbated by an underlying knee problem.
