Bluebirds win Etuhu race

Cardiff City have landed Manchester City forward Kelvin Etuhu on a season-long loan.

The Bluebirds beat off interest from Premier League Wolves to sign the 21-year-old striker, who can also operate as a winger.

"We are really pleased to get Kelvin," manager Dave Jones told the club's official website.

"He is a Premier League player coming into the club.

"It looked like he was going to Wolves, but there was a hitch and we stepped in to bring him here.

"He is a big pacey lad who will give us options across the frontline."
