Bluebirds trying to establish The Vaughan Identity

Everton striker James Vaughan is reported to be a Cardif City target. Vaughan's name has been linked on the MB since last weekend but Walesonline came out on Wednesday with claims that it's a done deal with a £1m fee mentioned. See hereOvernight the Liverpool press ( here ) claim that Everton have not had contact with Cardiff City while the BBC ( here ) say they understand discussions have taken place but nothing has been signed.Going back to the Walesonline story they say Vaughan should be signed and in contention to face Leeds next Tuesday at the CCS.Vaughan has droped down the order at Everton and has previously been loaned out. He's not played for Everton since February and has been on loan last year at Derby and Leicester and this season at Crystal Palace.
