Bluebirds swoop for Quincy

Cardiff City have snapped up the Ghana international Quincy Owusu-Abeyie on loan from Spartak Moscow until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old moves to Ninian Park after the Bluebirds agreed to let Willo Flood join Celtic.

Owusu-Abeyie scored twice in eight starts and 15 substitute appearances during his time with Arsenal before moving to Russia in the summer of 2006.

He also found the net three times in 21 games during a loan spell at Birmingham City in the first half of this season.
