Bluebirds swoop for Byrne

Cardiff City boss Dave Jones has bolstered his strikeforce by snapping up the Shelbourne forward Jason Byrne.
The 28-year-old Republic of Ireland international has been the top scorer in the eircom League Premier Division for the last four years.
Byrne moved to Shels from Bray Wand almost four years ago after scoring 64 goals in 159 games.
He scored 15 goals this season to help Shels clinch the title and in total netted 83 times in only 122 league appearances for the Reds.
