Cardiff City have secured a double transfer coup after landing Scotland striker Ross McCormack and defender Darren Dennehy from Everton.
McCormack, 21, had been linked with a number of Premier League clubs but has opted to join the Bluebirds after his contract with Motherwell expired.
The former Rangers striker netted 11 goals for the Steelmen in the Scottish Premier League last season.
Meanwhile, Dennehy is a promising defender who turned down a new contract at Everton to move to Ninian Park.
Elsewhere, the Bluebirds have also been boosted by the news that full-back Kevin McNaughton has agreed a new three-year contract.
"This is further evidence that we are putting together a squad that can compete to gain promotion to the Premier League," chairman Peter Ridsdale told the club's official website.
