Cardiff City have rejected two bids in excess of £1million believed to be for star duo Stephen McPhail and Joe Ledley.
Bluebirds chairman Peter Ridsdale revealed the club had rejected two approaches and has already started negotiations over a new contract with Ledley.
The Wales international made 51 appearances last season and is an integral part of manager Dave Jones' long-term plans.
"There have been two big offers and City have said no to both," Ridsdale told the South Wales Echo.
Meanwhile, Ridsdale has rejected rumours that the Bluebirds are interested in signing Watford striker Darius Henderson.
