Bluebirds can recover - Campbell

Campbell was City's hero at the Millennium Stadium in 2003 when he hit the play-off final winner against QPR which promoted the Bluebirds to the Championship. In 2003 Lennie Lawrence's Cardiff side failed to win any of their last five league matches but finished sixth and went on to win the play-offs by beating Bristol City and then QPR. "When you look back at those results going into the play-offs it's difficult to say how we earned promotion," Campbell told Wales Online. "Once we finished sixth, though, everything changed and we knew we were capable of going up. "I've watched Cardiff on television this season and they have some terrific players. They've had a couple of poor results, but the fact is they need a point at Sheffield Wednesday and they'll be in the play-offs."
