Bellamy banishes Boxing Day Blues
Cardiff City won on Boxing day for the first time in 11 years with a 2 - 0 win over Coventry City at the CCS. There was no Jay Bothroyd amidst rumours he could be leaving in January or that he was left out because the extreme cold was too risky for his hamstring.A fine display from Coventry keeper Kieren Westwood kept the score down but Coventry created chances and while the score was 1 - 0 there was always a danger City would surrender their lead.
