70′s. Mick Mills, Russell Osman, Brian Talbot, Paul Mariner and Eric Gates.

80′s. Marshall Burke of Lincoln was on loan to City at the time and started against Ipswich – in November 1982 he and Dave Bennett had been sent off for fighting during our 2-1 defeat at Sincil Bank.
