Ankle blow sidelines Etuhu

Cardiff City boss Dave Jones has confirmed that Kelvin Etuhu will be sidelined for up to two months with an ankle injury.

The striker, who is on a season-long loan with the Bluebirds from Manchester City, suffered the injury during Sunday's 1-0 home defeat to Newcastle United.

A post-match scan has revealed ligament damage and Etuhu, who has returned to Eastlands for treatment, is expected to be out of action for between six to eight weeks.

Jones said: "The lad is devastated. It's a big blow for him and for us."
