Andrew Taylor's first City goal proved to be just a consolation as City lost their second pre season game in a row. Bournemouth led at the break thanks to a thumping shot from Scott Malone early in the match. Anthony Gerrard was subbed after a few minutes after getting a cut on his head that required treatment. Dekel Keinan came on. Not reported as a great half from City and soon into the second half it got worse. Lovell extended Bournemouth's lead on 53 mins. Taylor got his goal just three minutes later after a good City move and when Whittingham hit the post with a fine effort things were improving for Cardiff. The second half was better but the game ended 2 - 1 after lots of substitutions including Filip Kiss coming on for his debut. Tom Heaton was the only player not to come off the bench today and he will start at Yeovil on Tuesday. Mackay and the players went to applaud the travelling fans after the final whistle. Next up we are at Yeovil on Tuesday evening, ko 7:45pm. Kenny Miller did not travel to Bournemouth but stayed back in Cardiff sorting accomodation. He is expected to make his debut at Huish Park against the Glovers.
