Football League chairman Mawhinney invited Bluebirds chairman Ridsdale and Swans chief Huw Jenkins to London for a meeting to discuss the possibility of the two clubs leaving the jurisdiction of the Football Association of Wales.[LNB]Ridsdale told the Western Mail: "I did accept an invitation for talks in London with Lord Mawhinney and Huw Jenkins also attended the meeting. But we cannot and will not initiate anything. We are in Wales and part of the Football Association of Wales.[LNB]"However, Premier League chairman David Richards has made it clear he feels we should be in the Football Association if we are promoted. I have told him that if he finds a solution which is acceptable to the Football Association of Wales and UEFA, then we would be happy."[LNB]Ridsdale added: "I agreed it was logical that we, as a club, should be dealt with by the same organisation and in the same way as everybody else in the English system.[LNB]"I underlined that we would not initiate any move, but would certainly be interested in any proposals they came up with. We have heard nothing further as yet."[LNB][LNB]
