07 February 2010 22:09
Wales have been handed a tough test to attempt to qualify for the 2012 Euro's in Poland/Ukraine after being drawn against England in the qualifiers. Also in the group are Switzerland, Bulgaria and Montenegro. In total there are nine groups with the 9 group winners and the best runner up qualifying automatically. The 8 remaining runners up play off for the last four places.Hopefully the Cardiff City Stadium can be used as one of the venue's rather than 20,000 fans rattling like peas in the Millennium Stadium for one of the fixtures other than England. The full 9 groups are:Group A Germany Turkey Austria Belgium Kazakhstan AzerbaijanGroup B Russia Slovakia Republic of Ireland FYR Macedonia Armenia AndorraGroup C Italy Serbia Northern Ireland Slovenia Estonia Faroe IslandsGroup D France Romania Bosnia-Herzegovina Belarus Albania LuxembourgGroup E Holland Sweden Finland Hungary Moldova San MarinoGroup F Croatia Greece Israel Latvia Georgia MaltaGroup G England Switzerland Bulgaria Wales MontenegroGroup H Portugal Denmark Norway Cyprus IcelandGroup I Spain Czech Republic Scotland Lithuania Liechtenstein
