Valley set for pitch inspection
The pitch at The Valley was hit by snowfall earlier in the week and the weather forecast is not favourable, so officials will check the playing surface at midday.[LNB]"Unfortunately, the heavy rain that was predicted on Thursday hasn't materialised," said operations director Mick Everett.[LNB]"We were expecting that to wash away a lot of the snow, and the forecast now is predicting another period of snow on Friday morning.[LNB]"Obviously, we intend to keep fans as informed as possible, because the last thing we want is supporters travelling in treacherous conditions."[LNB][LNB]
