Ugly scenes at KCB meeting

KCB supporters threatened and intimidated.

Sad times following Cardiff City football club. A summer that should be full of expectation and excitement has been over shadowed by the decision by the owners to change the 100 year old Blue home shirts to red. The fan base has been split and last night saw the divide pulled further apart when a Keep Cardiff Blue meeting was interupted by those backing the red cause leading to intimindation and threats made to fans wanting to keep the clubs historical blue kit.

Echo reporter Simon Gaskell was at the meeting and tweeted:

Simon Gaskell ‏@simongaskellI should be clear re: earlier tweet. Keep Cardiff Blue were peaceful. A rogue element (non KCB) disrupted the meeting...Simon Gaskell ‏@simongaskell...they shouted the meeting down, made threats against anyone protesting at the ground and refused to leave when asked.Simon Gaskell ‏@simongaskellIt was a horrible room to be in and a frightening experience.
