Tycoon joins Bluebirds' board

Chairman Peter Ridsdale believes the move will further the potential for the Bluebirds to make inroads into Asia and attract more investment.[LNB]Ridsdale said: "The fact TG has accepted this appointment demonstrates the confidence that exists that Cardiff City can, with the right level of additional investment whether directly or through the broader global commercial opportunites, become an established top-flight football club."[LNB]Chan said: "I am very proud to be joining the board of Cardiff City at this time. I believe that together with the existing board I can provide Cardiff City with the additional resources it requires to achieve the ambition of attaining Premier League football."[LNB]Meanwhile, Cardiff defender Adam Matthews has declared himself fit for Sunday's clash with Ipswich.[LNB]The teenage full-back, who was recently called into the full Wales squad, missed the 1-0 defeat at Barnsley last weekend with a groin injury.[LNB]"I've missed the last two days of training because of the injury but I trained on Tuesday and felt fine," he told City's official website.[LNB][LNB]
