Ty Hafan Fund Raising Christmas Hit

Local Status Quo Tribute band, "A Taste Of Quo" are releasing a Christmas song, titled "I Can't Wait For Christmas Day" and have pledged to donate 100% of the proceeds to local children's hospice Ty Hafan. The song, written by Cardiff City mad rhythm guitarist Jon Walker and arranged by the popular lead guitarist and vocalist Neil Waters has been hailed as a throw back to the much loved Christmas releases of the 70's in the style of Slade and Wizzard."Having tried to comprehend the impact that Ty Hafan must have on the lives of life limited children and their families, I really wanted to raise money to help support them. The idea of a Christmas song seemed like a fun and novel way of doing so and is something that everybody can get involved in. Hopefully people will like and decide to purchase the song and who knows, perhaps we could sneak into the charts, if we could it would be fantastic, as it would mean that we will have been successful in raising a fairly sizeable donation" says Jon.The band formed in 2009 and also features lifelong Cardiff City supporting drummer Stephen Treharne and bassist Dan Saxton. The song will be available to purchase from iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and Napster from Monday Dec 13th, costing just 79p.For more information, please visit their websitewww.icantwaitforchristmasday.co.uk Or their Facebook page: www.Facebook.com/ATasteOfQuo
