Taiwo has been out for trials at other clubs, recently Chesterfield, but has not secured a loan deal elsewhere.
Maybe he'll get a chance at Yeovil where he played for their reserves this week.
Also Aaron Wildig has extended his loan at Shrewsbury until the end of the season.
Shrewsbury Town boss Graham Turner told the club website: "He is a good footballer and a good passer of the ball."
He added: "He wants to stay and wants to prove he's good enough for a permanent contract."
