The midfielder has been the subject of sustained interest from several Premier League clubs this season and was widely tipped by many to depart Ninian Park for the top-flight.[LNB]However, the 22-year-old remains in Cardiff, and with the club riding high in the Championship and timing their run to perfection, Toshack feels Ledley could be part of something special with the team he has supported since childhood.[LNB]"Joe has played a lot of matches for a player of such tender age and he can be well pleased with his consistency," said the national team boss in the South Wales Echo. "He is captain of Cardiff City and I wouldn't be at all surprised if they nicked one of the automatic promotion places in the Championship this season.[LNB]"They have a great chance and right now Joe is captain of his local team. If he can help them go up it would be a dream come true for a boy from Fairwater.[LNB]"That really would put the icing on the cake for him. There were a lot of rumours surrounding Joe during the January transfer window, but he has a chance to go into the Premier League with Cardiff."[LNB][LNB]
