Tigers ready to stump up Ledley fee

Wales international Ledley is one of the summer's hottest properties, with the Bluebirds prepared to listen to offers for the 22-year-old who has one year remaining on his current contract. Earlier this week, Cardiff boss Dave Jones said: "The chairman has made it clear Joe will have to sign an extension to his contract, otherwise we'll have to let him go because we can't let him run his contract down." The Championship club are understood to have set their asking price for Ledley and the Sunday People claims the Tigers have made it known that they are prepared to meet it. However, Ledley is also a top target for Toffees boss David Moyes and the Merseyside club are likely to get the ball rolling with a £3million bid, £1.5million less than what the Bluebirds are after. Stoke could also yet enter the race if they miss out on other targets.
