With City's game at Ipswich not kicking off until 5:20pm it's possible we may have been knocked off top spot before kick off. Ipswich, depending how Peterborough get on at 3:00pm, could find themselves bottom at kick off at Portman Rd.
Five teams will have top spot in their eyes. Leicester are a point behind Cardiff. They face Bristol City at home. Brighton, two behind the Bluebirds are away at Derby County.
A win for Blackpool at home to Charlton would see them go above City on goal difference and a win by three goals or more would see Blackburn or Wolves leapfrog City at 5pm. They meet at Ewood Park.
Of couse whatever happens City will reclaim top spot if they beat Ipswich.
Peterborough need a point at home to Forest to get off the bottom of the table.
