The Championship weekend

14 October 2011 08:32
Cardiff City are in action on Saturday but the Championship kicks off this evening with a Yorkshire derby.

Only 8 points seperate the top half of the table and just 6 points the teams between 2nd and 12th place. So there's an oportunity to move up (or down) a few places depending on results.

Derby v Southampton will be seen as the match of the day while other top of the table sides meet each other like West Ham v Blackpool (a Premier League fixture last season) and Brighton v Hull.
