Parkin started four matches for Donny and was a sub in another. He didn't score but they have moved off the bottom of the table with two wins and a draw in his time there.
Parkin's two games for Cardiff this season were both in the Carling Cup and he is eligable for tomorrow evening's game against Burnley.
His return will come in handy as both Rudy Gestede and Kenny Miller are out injured.
