The Bluebirds launched a 2010/11 season ticket initiative before Christmas aimed at providing Jones with a January warchest to bolster his side's promotion charge over the remaining months of this campaign.[LNB]The offer proved to be hugely successful with more than 10,000 fans taking advantage and Jones, boosted by an estimated £3million, submitted a list of transfer targets to chairman Peter Ridsdale[LNB]But many fans have been left feeling betrayed after Cardiff released a statement on Wednesday confirming that a lack of expected new investment has meant money will now instead have to be put towards safeguarding the club's financial health.[LNB]Yet Jones himself has remained resolute, telling the South Wales Echo: "I'm just doing my job, getting on with what I'm employed to do by this club.[LNB]"I'm disappointed that we cannot bring players in during the January transfer window. But nothing changes...I and my staff will do our very best and get on with the job in the circumstances."[LNB][LNB]
