Science lesson for Gerrard and Blake

15 July 2010 00:48
Anthony Gerrard has relished his first season at Championship level and believes him and Darcy Blake have what it takes. Darcy in supportThere'll be no need to worry about experimenting with a Gerrard / Blake parnership as the pair did great things last season."All of us want to impress and play. Personally I feel I did OK last season, which was my first in the Championship."I came to terms with the pace of the game and different tactics. Now I have to consistently produce my better performances."The combination of Darcy and I worked well last season. There is good chemistry between us," Gerrard told the club's official website. With both players strong in the challenge there should be no problem with the 'physics'al side of the game. Oh forget it. I can't think where I would fit biology in.With Mark Hudson and Gabor Gyepes also challenging for a starting place only two will be head boys while the other two will be kept on the back 'bunsen' burner.Class dismissed.
