The 22-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the Cardiff City Stadium this summer after the club missed out on a play-off place in heartbreaking fashion back in May. But the news of his signature should stave off any interest from rival suitors and will come as music to the ears of manager Dave Jones and chairman Peter Ridsdale after losing centre-back Roger Johnson to Birmingham and with Joe Ledley heavily tipped to follow him out of the door.
