Ridsdale disappointed by Ledley comments
Former Cardiff chairman Peter Ridsdale has defended himself against accusations that he was to blame for Joe Ledley's move to Celtic.
Ledley has been under fire from Bluebirds fans but the midfielder claims that it was the influence of Ridsdale that finalised his decision.
Ridsdale had previously criticised Ledley's form but insists he did everything in his powers to keep the Wales international at the club.
"He had made it clear for some time that if Cardiff didn't get promoted he would move on. He has done so." Ridsdale told The Echo.
"Trying then to blame me is a sad end to a great career at Cardiff."
