Rangers trip to Cardiff a sell-out

Cardiff have announced Saturday`s eagerly-anticipated top of the table clash against QPR is a sell-out. City have just two home fixtures remaining this season as they battle to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League. Victory on Saturday would move second-placed Cardiff one step closer to clinching a top-two finish, while leaders QPR can also secure promotion and possibly the Championship title in the Welsh capital this weekend. Cardiff`s previous highest attendance this season was 26,049 versus Swansea in early November. That is narrowly the highest the club have recorded since moving into their new home in the summer of 2009, beating last season`s play-off semi-final second leg against Leicester which was watched by 26,033.
