City's failure to beat Charlton on Tuesday night left their automatic promotion hopes in tatters.[LNB]Rae, 31, also highlighted last-minute equalisers against the likes of Reading and Birmingham as the main reason why they find themselves in the play-offs.[LNB]Rae told WalesOnline.co.uk: "We will be disappointed not to make the top two because there have been the opportunities there for us to do it.[LNB]"Perhaps what cost us in the end was the fact that sometimes we just couldn't grind out the results when we needed to. We couldn't do what Wolves and Birmingham have done.[LNB]"We didn't quite have the consistency in the end, but we have to focus on getting in the play-offs."[LNB][LNB]
