Rae: Bluebirds lacked consistency
City's failure to beat Charlton on Tuesday night left their automatic promotion hopes in tatters.[LNB]Rae, 31, also highlighted last-minute equalisers against the likes of Reading and Birmingham as the main reason why they find themselves in the play-offs.[LNB]Rae told WalesOnline.co.uk: "We will be disappointed not to make the top two because there have been the opportunities there for us to do it.[LNB]"Perhaps what cost us in the end was the fact that sometimes we just couldn't grind out the results when we needed to.
