Quinn calls for Cardiff focus

Paul Quinn insists Cardiff must remain focused on their own fortunes over the remaining seven matches of the season and not those of their promotion rivals. While a battle also rages to get into the play-off places, Bluebirds full-back Quinn is adamant City need to look upwards at the race for automatic promotion and not below them. Norwich currently occupy second spot, four points ahead of Cardiff, while local rivals Swansea are level on points in fourth. The Canaries and Swans go head-to-head in the evening kick-off at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday, just hours after Dave Jones' side tackle Doncaster. And Quinn, who bagged his first goal for Cardiff in the weekend's 4-1 win over Derby, said: "We'd swap places with Norwich, of course we would. We need to catch Norwich, there's no doubt about that. But we can only make an impact on what we do, we don't play those teams so there's nothing we can do about that. "We want to win as many games as we can. if that's enough then great, if not we go again and see what the next step is but I'm sure if we keep working hard and keep getting results then hopefully they'll slip up somewhere."
