Pulis open to new Ledley bid

Pulis saw a £6million bid for the midfielder rejected last summer and has been tipped to make a renewed offer at the end of the season. Ledley has just 12 months remaining on his contract and Cardiff have conceded they will listen to offers if an extension is not agreed. The Potters are among a string of Premier League clubs to be linked with the Wales international and Pulis is keeping an open mind about a second bid. "We came in and made an offer and we thought it was a great offer for Joe, to be honest," Pulis told the South Wales Echo. "But Cardiff did not want to sell him and credit to Dave (Jones) and Peter (Ridsdale) for that. "They felt he was important to Cardiff and we had to live with that. "We did feel it was a fantastic offer at the time for the kid and we were very disappointed that we were not successful." Pulis added: "If I am going to do any business with Cardiff this summer I will be doing it with Dave and Peter. "I won't be doing things through the newspapers. "But we will take another look at it and if it feels right for us then I will be speaking to Dave about it before anyone else."
