Premier League summer transfer window open for business

11 June 2013 12:52
Today is the first official day of the summer transfer window for the Premier League.

The window closes against at 11pm on Monday September 2nd.

So while some deals may have been announced already they can only be officially registered through the Premeir League from today onwards.

There's been nothing concrete regarding possible signings for Cardiff yet but added to the names I mentioned on the weekend (click here) are Soloman Kalou and Dirk Kuyt.

A question was asked by WalesOnline if Gary O'Neil would be a good signing for City but that was a point for discussion rather than a confirmed link.

Even though some players like Rudy Gestede and Kimbo Kyung are still facing international matches it's only approx 3 weeks before players will start returning for pre season training.

So the sooner new players can be brought in to allow time to gel the better.
