City suffered a 3 - 0 defeat against Portuguese side Portimonense in Albufeira last night. The hosts were 2 up at half time and sealed the victory with a third goal 10 mins from time.Cardiff started the game: Marshall, McNaughton, Kennedy, Blake, Gerrard, Whittingham, McPhail ©, Drinkwater, Burke, Chopra, McCormack.City wore their new 2010 / 2011 home kit but it was the Portuguese side who "looked smart" when Candeias scored after 5 mins. The same player scored again on 30 mins when his effort was fumbled in by David Marshall (Rob Green style). Anderson rounded off the scoring 10 mins from time.Dave Jones used seven subs including a triallist called Kevin Le Roux.Speaking after the game Jones said that the Portuguese side were further ahead than City and that his side looked a little bit "leggy" after double training sessions throughout the week.
