Parkin stays, Bellamy heading to Liverpool?
Two men who deserve to be linked in the same headline, or do they? Jon Parkin failed to agree a move to Coventry City today. So 'The Beast' remains a Cardiff City player. Some sources say a deal could not be reached, others he failed his medical. Any hopes that City might sign Craig Bellamy before the transfer window closes tonight appear to be forlorn. Bellamy was linked with QPR, Stoke and Celtic earlier today and at the time of writing (6pm) it's rumoured that Bellamy is being transported to Liverpool to re-sign for his former club. He has been training with Wales this morning but has been given permission to go to 'insert named club here' to discuss a move. Earlier today Cardiff were linked with Motherwell's Jamie Murphy and Coventry striker Lukas Jutkiewicz, but those rumours have come to nothing.
