On Soccer AM - I'LL BE THERE
John Owen and Owen Powell are guests on Soccer AM today where they will be publicising the I'LL BE THERE song which is raising money for the Fred Keenor Statue Appeal. Owen (Actor), Powell (Catatonia), Guto Price (Super Furry Animals) and Ryan Richards (Funeral For A Friend - who replaced the late Stuart Cable) have recorded a new version of I'LL BE THERE, the song based on mining issues in the Rhondda 100 years ago.Cardiff fans have sung "I'll be there, I'll be there. With my little pick and shovel I'll be there" for a long time now. It's great that a professinal version will be used to raise money to fund a statue in honour of City's 1927 Cup winning captain Fred Keenor.Tune into Soccer AM at 10am on Saturday morning.
