No case for Cardiff defence

Cardiff boss Dave Jones blasted his side's defending after the 3-0 defeat at Bristol City. The Bluebirds looked wide open at the back and were undone by two identical Jon Stead crosses for the opening two goals for Brett Pitman and Lee Johnson before Jamal Campbell-Ryce hit the third . "That's unforgivable," Jones said. "You expect players to learn from their mistakes, yet we were guilty of committing the same one twice within the space of 20 or 30 minutes. "It's not lack of confidence. We are just making some terrible decisions at the back and we have to do something about it quickly. "The players have taken us to where we are and I want to stand by them, but we cannot allow things to continue as they are and need to work very hard on the training ground. "I will take action in the January transfer window if I think it is necessary, but at the moment my only focus is on the next game."
