McNaughton nears Bluebirds return
The Scotland international has recovered from an ankle knock and played 45 minutes of the Bluebirds' behind-closed-doors friendly at Hereford last week.
Dundee-born McNaughton has been on the sidelines since damaging ankle ligaments during a pre-season match against Celtic.
He is set to feature in Cardiff's friendly at Bristol Rovers on Monday and told Cardiff Online: "I'll see how the match against Bristol Rovers goes and then we'll know exactly where I am.
"If that goes well, I will be available. It would be great if I was in the squad for the Palace match."
