McNaughton and Cowie called into Scotland squad
Call ups for the City pair as replacements after players pull out. City duo Kevin McNaughton and Don Cowie have joined Kenny Miller in the Scotland squad for this Wednesday's friendly international with Denmark at Hampden Park. The City due replace defenders Alan Hutton and Steven Whittaker who have withdrawn from Craig Levein's squad through injury. It means that City will now be without several first team squad players for the trip to Oxford Utd in the Carling Cup with at least four of the team who started against West Ham going to be away with their countries. An early test as to how good our squad is with a chance for Mason, Gestede and Parkin to challenge for the front positions.
