Maybe home double will see a better return

After two away defeats City get the chance to put things right at home. It's been a bad week for City and it's supporters. Many miles travelled for two abject performaces. I suffered Leicester but decided to miss the trip to Ipswich and watching Adam Matthews head forcefully past David Marshall I'm glad I stayed home. Thanks to the wonders of the internet I was able to watch the game on my PC.After a promising first half City again fell apart in the 2nd half. They were not quite as battered as they were at Leicester but Ipswich didn't have to try too hard as Cardiff seem incapable of taking control. After Matthews amazing own goal Jason Scotland managed to get between the defenders to powerfully finish past Marshall and that was that. City had two chances of note in the 2nd half. A Whittingham header forced a smart save from the home keeper and with virutally the last kick Burke fired over the bar.So on the road in the past week Cardiff travelled to Leicester and Ipswich and came home with ZERO points. One week ago we shared top spot with Q.P.R., in the past week they also went to Leicester and Ipswich and came home with SIX points. We have a week now to look at getting players like Bellamy and Olofinjana fit again. Jay Bothroyd started at Ipswich and made a difference. Also the sooner we get Danny Drinkwater and Michael Chopra back the better.Cardiff face Millwall at the CCS on Saturday. Yesterday Millwall lost 6 - 1 at home to Watford. Then on Tuesday week we face Crystal Palace at home. You can't take anything for granted but after the last two results then we really must impose ourselves and pick up two home wins.Cardiff v Millwall - Saturday Sep 25th - ko 12 noonCardiff v Palace - Tuesday Sep 28th - ko 7:45pm
